barack obama speach really signified alot and many people didnt believe he would be good for office because of his race which is abosolutely untrue obama suffered rasicm from his own grandmother as well as other people. obama wanted to prove a point that black people did have rights as well and shoudnt be treated any differently. he noted that not one person could change peoples view on race everyone needs to work together ! and you write your own destiny so you shouldnt allow other people to write it for you. you neeed to stand up for others who dont have a word.
